Fees & Rebates

Session fees

Please note: After hours appointments (after 5pm & Saturday) incur an extra $20.

Medicare rebates

You may be eligible to Medicare rebate under the Medicare Better Access Initiative for up to 10 individual sessions per calendar year. To check if you are eligible please book an appointment with you GP and ask for a Mental Health Care Plan, explaining why you would want to consult a psychologist. If your GP deems you eligible, then please bring your Mental Health Care Plan and your referral letter to your initial appointment with your psychologist as these are required for you to receive the rebates.

If you are seeing a psychologist in relation to a presenting eating disorder, you may be eligible for up to 40 individual sessions under an Eating Disorder Management Plan. Please communicate your needs with your GP.

Please note that anyone can book an appointment with a psychologist without a referral from a GP, however, these sessions are not eligible for any Medicare rebate.

Private health rebates

It can be possible to claim via your private health cover if you are not eligible for Medicare. It is best to speak with your private health insurer to see whether your insurance plan covers psychology services.

You need to pay the full fee for the psychological service, then claim the rebate directly from your private health provider.

National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)

We provide services to individuals with NDIS plans. Please make an enquiry to see whether we can support your needs.
